KEANE CURATE WAR CHILD GIGS
Band to play Brixton on 1st November 2007 and Manchester on 31st October 2007
Following the release of their War Child single 'The Night Sky' on 29th October, Keane will be continuing their support of the charity by hosting a musical extravaganza at Brixton Academy on November 1st. The event will be held to raise money and awareness for the War Child's work in Iraq. The evening will see a stellar array of musicians joining together to perform with Keane and launch the fundraising activity for War Child; Pet Shop Boys, The Magic Numbers, Guillemots and Teddy Thompson are confirmed, with more special guests to be announced.
Tickets to the gigs at both Manchester Apollo and Brixton Academy go on sale on Friday, 21st September. Pre-sale tickets, priced £30 will be available exclusively via The Shop here at www.keanemusic.com on Wednesday, 19th September. Any remaining tickets will be sold through the usual channels from Friday, 21st September.
